Nuverse’s new MMO Crystal of Atlan briefly announces PS5 release and showcases the Magician

We’re going to assume that someone at Nuverse accidentally hit the publish button a bit too soon on the socials for its upcoming MMO Crystal of Atlan: Apparently the self-described “magicpunk” action anime MMO is headed to the PlayStation 5 console, but sometime after that announcement was made, the game’s listing was pulled from the storefront.

As first noticed by MMO Bomb, the game’s Facebook and Twitter accounts heralded the title’s PS5 launch and its immersive, console-specific gameplay. However, links to that store listing have since died, and searches for the title on the PlayStation Store currently return no results.

While the game will be free-to-play, MMO Bomb did record some details of what the store listings offered: Two pre-order packs were made available at $10 and $20 respectively, each with various in-game items. Also of note was a listed release date of May 28th, which is new information that’s not currently available anywhere on the game’s socials or official site.

In terms of recent news out of the title, the game’s YouTube channel has been absolutely alive with videos showcasing the game’s various classes, with some particular focus on the Magician class, which appears to be capable of mezzing and assaulting foes with a variety of illusory magic abilities. The game also held a technical test on iOS platforms earlier this month for specific countries.
